Our client is a leading European company in the food and FMCG industry. We are looking for a dynamic Sales & Key Account Manager DACH (m/f/d) who has experience in negotiating with purchasing centers, managing key accounts, developing new sales channels and driving long-term growth in the DACH region.
Your responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining close relationships with key accounts - you are the main point of contact.
- You negotiate annual contracts, prices and conditions directly with the purchasing centers and regional customer departments (also managing the commercial agreements, including all related costs).
- You understand customer needs and strategies and recognize growth opportunities.
- You will be responsible for implementing promotional activities and coordinating with internal teams to ensure proper execution.
- Define and execute commercial strategies, annual plans and new sales channels.
- You will be responsible for analyzing sales performance, conducting regular store visits and preparing performance reports.
- You will maintain close contact with customers, handle conflicts and support the Customer Service team in solving problems.
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales or a comparable education.
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in sales and/or key account management. Experience in negotiations with purchasing centers, preferably in the food or FMCG industry is a big plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently (approx. 70% of the time away from home).
- Fluent written and spoken German & English. Knowledge of French and/or Spanish is a plus.
- Strong negotiation skills and excellent communication and conflict management skills.
