Our client, one of the leading European manufacturers of PVC foils & reinforced membranes for the swimming pool and premium project sector, is currently looking for a Business Development Manager Spain.
- Drive brand development and market share growth in Spain for the company’s product portfolio within the swimming pool industry.
- Support and coordinate all Sales & Marketing activities requested by the company’s exclusive key customer in Spain and also propose additional actions to gain Brand recognition.
- Build strong relationships with distribution centers, local managers, sales managers, pool builders, installers, and key industry stakeholders.
- Promote the company’s reinforced PVC membrane solutions to pool builders/installers while identifying and developing brand ambassadors within the Spanish market.
- Regularly visit distribution branches across Spain (Catalonia, Levante, Madrid, South and North regions) to ensure strong brand visibility and execution at point of sale.
- Train, motivate and support distributor/client sales teams through product trainings, joint customer visits and local commercial events.
- Participate in annual negotiations, budgeting and performance follow-up together with the Sales Director.
- Organize local technical support with the actual 3 technical Supervisors (Cataluna, South, Levante) and manage the training Academy located in Madrid.
- Develop brand awareness and strengthen market positioning in Spain through marketing initiatives, trade fairs, events and social media activities.
- Analyze market trends, product categories and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and define commercial strategies. Represent the company within relevant pool industry associations (like ASSOFAP) and professional networks in Spain.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technical or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience, ideally within the swimming pool industry or technical equipment/products segment.
- Strong combination of technical understanding and commercial mindset.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Highly autonomous, well organized and comfortable managing frequent travel across Spain.
- Entrepreneurial mindset.
- Native-level Spanish and fluent English required; French is considered a plus (but not a must).
