The CCO is the executive responsible for commercial management and organizational development, overseeing marketing, sales, distribution, loyalty, and revenue to drive growth and market share. They report to the CEO and ensure that all functions are aligned with strategic business objectives.
• Define the corporate commercial strategy: Set overall sales and marketing objectives, collaborating with the General Management and coordinating operational marketing plans.
• Lead the sales, marketing, and other teams: Direct the Sales, Distribution, Revenue, CRM, Marketing (both online and offline), and Loyalty teams, ensuring the execution of the commercial policy.
• Manage objectives and budgets: Establish sales targets and budget control, participating in high-level negotiations with strategic clients and key partners.
• Promote direct sales and digitalization: Drive direct acquisition through the website and owned channels, integrating digital tools (CRM/CDP, analytics) for data-driven decision-making.
• Foster customer focus: Take ownership of the guest relationship, ensuring a positive experience and fostering loyalty , in line with loyalty and repeat business objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum 15–20 years of experience in hotel sales, with at least 5–7 years in management or C-level positions.
• University degree in Tourism, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field;
MBA or relevant Master's degree preferred.
• Languages: Fluent English; other languages (German, French, etc.) preferred depending on the market.
• Knowledge of hotel management systems (PMS/CRS), CRM (Salesforce or others), and analytics tools (Google Analytics, BI).
Technical and personal skills:
• Extensive experience (>15 years) in the corporate hospitality industry, preferably in international resort chains. Experience leading multidisciplinary sales and marketing teams.
• Strategic vision, results-oriented approach, and analytical skills; ability to translate data into actionable decisions.
• Strong leadership and executive communication skills; transformational profile to drive organizational change.
• Proficiency in digital and analytics tools.
• Languages: Advanced English is essential (other relevant market languages are a plus).
