Develop and execute global strategies for the portfolio, with ownership of product launches, existing business performance, and omnichannel activation. Drive growth through a strong commercial lens shaping the big commercial idea behind each launch, translating brand strategy into compelling retailer -facing stories, and building high -impact sell -in an d launch presentations for key partners.
Partner closely with regional and local market teams to ensure strategies are ground ed in real retail environments, consumer behavior, and channel dynamics across priority markets. Own P&L performance, budget management, and portfolio optimization, while leveraging consumer insights, trend analysis, and market da ta to guide decision -making.
Lead cross -functional collaboration across GTM , Sales, Trade, Digital, PR, Supply Chain, and Finance to deliver globally consistent strategies with locally relevant execution that drives sales, visibility, and long -term brand growth.
• Team: Manage the Team in Paris in the development and implementation of commercial & brand strategies for the portfolio .
• Business and Commercial Ownership: Own the business holistically, balancing brand and innovation ambition with commercial strategies, P&L accountability, portfolio performance, financial discipline, and sustainable growth.
• Strategy & Vision: Assist in defining the global fragrance marketing vision, strategy, brand architecture, and innovation roadmap to meet company, brand and commercial objectives .
• Licensor: Act as the primary day -to-day partner to the licensor, leading transparent, solution -oriented collaboration to align on strategy , performance, innovation, and long -term brand objectives.
• Product Lifecycle: Own and manage the full product lifecycle across the portfolio, from concept ideation and naming through fragrance and packaging development, artwork execution, launch, post launch performance tracking and ongoing SKU optimization.
• New Product Development: Manage end -to-end development of all new launches, promotions, and gift -with-purchase initiatives across the portfolio. Ensure on -time, on -budget delivery through rigorous project management, including pitch planning, project plans, IPM kick -offs and launches, regular cross -functional development forums and launch performance tracking .
• Existing Portfolio Management : Drive the growth of the existing portfolio through strategic planning, lifecycle management, commercial animation, optimization initiatives and retail performance tracking .
• Fragrance Development: Manage the fragrance creation process from brief to final selection, managing submission tracking, feedback loops, and off -site develop ment in close collaboration with fragrance houses and fillers .
• Campaigns: Develop and execute integrated 360 ° global campaigns (advertising, digital, social, PR , experiential) that balance global scale with local market needs. Campaign management across innovation and existing portfolio , including briefing, identifying campaign deliverables in collaboration with PR/Media/ GTM /Trade, campaign execution, feedback tracking , campaign selects process, postproduction , usage tracking, etc. delivering on time and within budget .
• Market & Retailer Insights : Leverage deep understanding of retail environments, channel dynamics, and market -level consumer behavior to inform strategy, shape commercial plans, and drive relevance across key global and local retail partners.
• Consumer Insights: Lead market research initiatives, competitive benchmarking, and trend analysis to inform strategy, guide innovation, and strengthen brand relevance.
• Cross -Functional Leadership : Act as the central point of coordination across internal stakeholders (Packaging, IPM , Procurement, Finance, Demand Planning, Trade Marketing, GTM , PR/Media/Digital, Sales) and external partners (agencies, fragrance houses), ensuring clear, decisive, and action -oriented communication.
• P&L and Budget Management: Build and manage budgets (total brand budget, central marketing budget, licensor budgets), P&L ownership and management, and COGS management (targets, tracking and adherence ).
• Retail & Merchandising: In partnership with GTM , shape commercial presence through retail activations that support sell -in and sell -out, strong merchandising execution and guideline management.
• Master’s degree in Marketing or related field
• 12+ years of experience, preferably within the prestige fragrance and beauty industry
• Strong knowledge of global markets
• Excellent English & French skills required
• Experienced managing Licensed business preferred
• Available to travel, if needed
• Entrepreneurial, proactive self -starter with the ability to think independently, take initiative, and drive work forward without constant direction
• Strong strategic thinker who can also operate tactically, delivering results in a fast -paced, complex environment
• Proven ability to influence, build strong relationships, and collaborate effectively across cross -functional, international, and extern al partner teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and align diverse stakeholders
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
• Professionally mature, accountable, and resourceful, with a high standard for quality and follow -through
• Passion for fragrance and/or beauty, with relevant global marketing experience preferred and strong understanding of US culture
• Strong presentation and computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
