Responsible for managing a team of demand planners and generation of volume and value forecasting through executing the demand planning components of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process Manage S&OP for the designated markets/channels ensuring process control, facilitating information for decision making. Bring to the next level the S&OP process outcomes in terms of process mastery and embedded in the organization. The Demand Planning manager's role and responsibility shall focus on but not limited to and deliver the following · Provide visibility on a doable commercial forecast during S&OP identify risk and opportunities to the plan and putting actions in place to close the gap from volume forecasted and commercial budgets · Provide visibility of demand in week/month/Quarter bucket, and mid to long term strategic plan to downstream such as supply planning, manufacturing, CLS (warehouse and Logistics) etc to ensure end to end supply chain planning to support top line sales and business growth; · Work very closely with marketing/ trade marketing team on NPI/NPD and promotions plans, build accurate volume projections into forecast; · Be a key NPI/NPD project team member or potentially lead/drive NPD/NPI projects to ensure timely launching per defined schedule nd scope; · Drive and Conduct S&OP meeting to ensure issues/potential risks around DSI (demand, supply and Inventory) are addressed properly and timely · Joint accountability of inventory management, ensure quality of inventory, inventory turns meet defined targets delivering high standard of customer service level, namely OTIF and UFR · Develop team, nurture talent. Develop a strong customer oriented, commercial focused highly capable demand planning team, and succession planning. Requirements: •. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in business/supply chain/Marketing, MBA is preferred; • Clear commercial focus, ability to plan, manage, coordinate demand through a clear process driven approach • Effective influencer of business and technical stakeholders; ability to assess specific need, whilst maintaining wider context viewpoint; • Strong collaborative leadership skills (strategic & tactical), able to negotiate, influence, align, and prioritize • Strong multi-cultural communication, presentation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, • Strong management experience, adept in collaboration across functions in a matrix organization • Results-orientated, creative, practical, analytical, attention to detail, self-motivated, and a team-player • Demonstrated ability to work in extremely fast paced and dynamic environment. • Demonstrated ability for sound decision making while working under pressure in critical situations • Working knowledge of SAP ECC, Maugistics, Microsoft Office • Problem solving & analytical profile with financial & commercial acumen
