Poland (Poland)
Our client, a leading global manufacturer of industrial spray, dispensing, coating and finishing solutions, is looking for a driven, hands-on sales professional who loves to win new business. As Account Manager, you will open doors, build a pipeline and grow the company's footprint in your territory: Poland, Scandinavia and the Baltics. You will win new end-users and distributors, develop existing accounts and turn finishing technology into measurable results for customers. This is a hunter role: you are out in the field, at the spray booth and on the production line, not behind a desk.
• New Business Development: Actively hunt for new end-user and distributor accounts. Identify, qualify and close opportunities through cold calling, site visits, trade shows and your own network.
• Revenue Growth: Own your territory and its numbers. Build and execute a sales plan with clear targets per account, distributor and product line, and consistently achieve or exceed them.
• Distributor Management: Recruit, develop and steer distribution partners. Grow the company's share of their business through joint account plans, regular reviews and on-site support.
• Hands-on Customer Support: Run product demonstrations, trials and Finishing Tune-Ups at the customer site. Analyze processes, identify improvement potential and present solutions that save material, time and cost.
• Training: Train distributor staff and end-users on the company's equipment so they can sell, use and maintain it with confidence.
• Market Intelligence: Track customers, competitors, projects and trends in your territory and share insights with sales management, product management and marketing.
• CRM & Reporting: Keep pipeline, visit reports and forecasts up to date in the CRM; plan your time and territory efficiently.
• Events: Represent the company at trade shows, customer events and industry associations.
• Budget: Plan and manage your travel and entertainment budget responsibly.
• Several years of successful B2B field sales in a relevant industrial environment, ideally in spray finishing equipment, paint/coatings, sealants & adhesives or related capital equipment.
• Proven track record in new customer acquisition: you can show what you have won, not only what you have managed.
• Hunter mentality: self-motivated, persistent, resilient and energized by targets.
• Hands-on attitude and technical curiosity; comfortable demonstrating equipment and getting your hands dirty at the customer site.
• Technical understanding of spray application, dispensing equipment or paint and material properties (or the drive to learn it quickly).
• Experience working with distributors and end-users.
• Technical degree, commercial degree, vocational training (e.g. painter, coating technician, mechatronics) or equivalent experience.
• Confident with MS Office and CRM systems; solid commercial skills (pricing, margins, ROI).
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to work independently and as part of an international team.
• Must-have: fluent English and fluent Polish.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the territory (up to 75%); valid driving licence.
What You Can Expect:
• A role with real impact and room to shape the market in your territory.
• Products from strong, globally recognized finishing brands.
• Thorough product and application training.
• Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus/commission, company car or car allowance, laptop and phone.
• A collaborative international team with short decision paths.
