Jefe de Producción

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Jefe de Producción to lead our manufacturing plant operations. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production cycle, ensuring that targets are met efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will lead cross-functional teams, optimize manufacturing processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall plant performance.

Responsibilities:

- Plan, organize, and direct manufacturing operations to ensure compliance with production targets and quality standards.
- Manage, mentor, and develop plant personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Monitor production KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and implement effective corrective actions and process improvements.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations within the facility.
- Collaborate with supply chain, maintenance, and quality assurance departments to streamline workflows and resource allocation.
- Manage operational budgets and resources efficiently to minimize waste and maximize profitability.

Requirements:

- Proven professional experience as a Production Manager or in a similar leadership role within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Strong background in industrial processes, lean manufacturing, and operational excellence methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Degree in Engineering or a related technical field is highly desirable.
