Oversee and direct all accounting, controlling and finance activities at the Region, including tax, and report timely and accurately according to corporate function and legal guidelines in order to provide adequate information for decision making Annual Budgeting Monthly Controlling • Adhere to Corporate guidelines for monthly reporting and objectives • Prepare subsidiary monthly report (SMR), explain deviations from budget and propose corrective measures • Continuous analysis of the evolution of PL, balance sheet and cash flow generation of the main projects of the company • Trade Working Capital: monitor compliance • Investments: monitor cash flows and analyze ROIs • Credit Control: Identify and control subsidiary financial risks • Adequate analysis of the profitability of the business, main customers, etc. • Treasury: inform of the needs and priorities for the region • Tax: Supervise correct compliance and accounting performed by a third party and manage tax audits Accounting: • Ensure correct bookkeeping and dual accounting when required by local regulation • Provide direction to region staff or external supplier in conjunction with annual audit or other due diligence • Prepare and file on time annual Statutory financial statements based on accounting records Decision Support • Act as a trusted advisor to the West Africa Regional Director and provide analysis and strategic thinking • Identify the most relevant issues requiring the attention of the West Africa Regional Director Organization/Human Resources • Organize and supervise the finance activities of the region • Propose the objectives, structure and functional for the region • Participate in goal setting, evaluation, compensation, promotion and development of the functional organization assigned to the region • Ensure Group policies/procedures are known and followed
