Job Description:

We are partnering with a leading international industrial group to recruit a Regional Sales Manager – Self-Adhesive Solutions for Northern Europe, covering Germany, the UK and Ireland. This role reports directly to the Executive Sales Director of the Self-Adhesive Business Unit and plays a critical role in accelerating growth, strengthening market presence, and building a high-performing regional organization.

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, ideal for a commercially driven professional who combines strong technical understanding with the ability to build teams, develop markets, and engage senior stakeholders across the value chain.

Responsibilities:

Mission of the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth and market expansion across Northern Europe by leading regional sales activities, developing key customer relationships, and executing a robust business development strategy aligned with the Group’s global objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Own and deliver sales growth and revenue targets across Germany, the UK and Ireland.

Define and execute a regional commercial strategy that expands the customer base and reinforces the company’s positioning in the self-adhesive and label sector.

Lead, develop and scale the regional sales organization, acting as a local champion for the business and building a high-performance culture.

Develop strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, converters, specifiers and certifying bodies within the label industry.

Drive new business development through active prospecting, networking and identification of emerging opportunities and market shifts.

Promote and grow the full product portfolio within the assigned region, ensuring value-based selling and technical differentiation.

Act as a trusted partner to customers by deeply understanding their needs and positioning the company’s future capabilities and innovations.

Prepare and present sales performance reports, forecasts and business plans to senior management.

Execute regional business development budgets and ensure disciplined pipeline and opportunity management.

Deliver technical and commercial presentations to customers, articulating product benefits and application value.

Collaborate closely with Marketing, Business Development and Technical teams to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.

Represent the company at key industry events, meetings and corporate forums.

Requirements:

University degree (BSc or higher) in Chemistry, Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Proven track record in B2B sales leadership, ideally within self-adhesive materials, labels, chemicals, or related industrial sectors.

Minimum 6+ years of experience in regional sales or sales management roles with clear responsibility for growth and team leadership.

Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets in competitive markets.

Strong experience building customer loyalty through technical expertise, service excellence and long-term partnership approaches.

Languages: Fluent German and English are mandatory; Spanish, Italian or French are a strong plus.

Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Entrepreneurial, proactive and self-driven, with the autonomy and ambition to lead regional expansion.

Natural leader with strong coaching, mentoring and people development capabilities.
