Job Description:

Our client, a global B2B provider of high-performance sealing systems for industrial sectors, is seeking a driven Sales Manager to join them at their Manchester office. The role is strongly focused on business development and sales growth in the UK.

Responsibilities:

• Identify new business opportunities and actively prospect potential clients
• Manage the full sales cycle: lead qualification, follow-up, negotiation, and closing
• Identify customer needs and propose suitable industrial solutions
• Act as the first point of contact for clients via phone, email, and in-person
• Prepare, send, and follow up on commercial offers and quotations
• Support commercial campaigns and sales initiatives
• Coordinate with sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure correct order execution
• Handle commercial incidents with a strong customer-oriented approach
• Maintain and update CRM systems and commercial databases

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in B2B or industrial sales, with the ability to understand and sell technical or industrial products
• Strong track record in prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals
• Results-oriented with a clear focus on achieving targets
• Excellent communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills
• Proactive, customer-focused, and dynamic personality
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution and strong decision-making
• Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office
• Business-fluent English
• Educational background in sales, business administration, or similar is a plus
• Availability to travel very frequently
