FUNCTIES
Mission:
You will act as main collaborator of the General Manager by leading and managing the technical department. The position offers the opportunity to create and build up your own technical department.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor the lifecycle of each project from conception to completion, with emphasis on technical consistency and resource efficiency
- Act as an advisor and supporter to the Sales team regarding technical issues and establish customer satisfaction
- Ensure standard operating procedures and project guidelines
- Develop and review statements of work, including accurate time and cost estimates
- Train, guide, and mentor technical staff in their day-to-day functions
- Resolve and respond to customer issues and inquiries
- Meet with clients to refine and assess requirements, strategies, content needs, and track project progress
- Keep clients updated about the progress of the projects
- Lead teams effectively and inspire others to achieve goals through innovation, quality, and excellence
- Research and introduce new technologies to all employees and managers
- Assist in the creation of internal standards
- Elaborate and prepare technical reports to close and deliver project results
- Plan the execution of the projects, delegate and allocate responsibilities
- Technically prepare the commercial offers by designing the technical perimeter

- Understanding and managing of technical project requirements
Requirements:
- You ideally have a degree in the field of engineering (i.e., mechanical engineering, mechatronics or similar)
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position or having significant experience as a Technician
- Ideally having previous team management experience
- Experience in high technical/complex products and ideally in after sales service
- Experience in the automotive or machinery industry.
- Ideally come from or have experience in stamping and/or forging presses or come from the metal stamping sector
- Knowledge in the use of AutoCAD, Solid Edge or/and other technical planning tools
- Open-minded individual, with a can-do attitude, and a clear customer and service focused orientation
- Ability to communicate effectively with teams and clients
- Excellent level of Spanish. Fluent in English. German is a plus.
