HR Manager Our client is a global market leader in the industrial sector and seeks a Human Resources Manager. We are seeking a dynamic professional able to work strategically whilst at the same time being very hands on. The company is currently in a stage of expansion and this is a key position to be based in Sydney, Australia. Functions Reporting to the International HR Area Manager, the main responsibilities of this position are: Identifies, prioritizes, builds and delivers organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes across facilities in Australia. Managing recruitment and selection of staff, following forecast planned for each project. Identifying training needs and provision of appropriate training. Leads workforce planning, talent assessment and succession planning. Collaboration with the Health and Safety Representative regarding health and safety issues. In charge of individual and collective labour relations. Utilizes data and analytics to drive business decisions and assess organizational effectiveness. Ensures HR processes and practices are compliant with all applicable regulatory requirements. Advises on HR policy; maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to employees; ensures compliance with all applicable employment policies, regulations and laws. Personnel Administration (contracts, payroll supervision, presence control, overtime control, promotion, etc.) Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Management of expatriation processes. Requisites Degree in Business Administration or Law. Postgraduate degree in Human Resources or Labour Relations would be highly valued. Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in HR is required, in the industrial sector in a generalist role. A solid knowledge of Excel is essential. Able to work autonomously and to take initiative. Superb communication skills. Team worker.
