Oversee the operations within aerospace division, develop the automotive business division and ensure profitability of the company in Shanghai. Business development within the automotive industry, develop clients and strategical relationship with the clients. Develop and execute the company’s business strategies for China in order to attain the goals of the members of the board/Director of Operations. Prepare an annual business plan and monitor progress against these plans to ensure that the company attains its objectives as cost-effectively and efficiently as possible. Provide strategic advice and guidance to the Director of Operations to keep him aware of developments within the industry. Manage and lead a team. Support the team in achieving results providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance. Ensure that the appropriate policies are developed to meet the company’s mission and objectives and to comply with all regulations. Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company growth. Create initiatives to take advantage of market opportunities, reduce operational threats and business risks and maximize strengths. Represent the company in negotiations with customers and other key contacts to secure for it the most effective contract terms.


Graduate in Industrial/Mechanical engineering, or similar academic degree. Experience in automotive/automatizations sector with at least 3 years in a position as Country Manager or Managing Director. Ideally the candidate should have experience working within the automotive industry. 6-8 years experience in business development within automotive experience and previous tecnical background. Fluent in english and some knowledge of german would be a plus. Understanting of the chinese culture and customs. Proficient in working in fast-paced environment, quick decision making. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent leadership and organizational skills. Strong client orientation. Hands on approach. Experience working in an international environment. Strategic vision, analytical and problem-solving skills. Results oriented. Availability to travel.
