Our client is a leading worldwide distributor of ingredients in the Feed, Food, and Pharma industries. We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager to lead the growth of the FEED Ingredients Business, specializing in Pet Food ingredients. The position will report directly to the Business Development Director. Main responsibilities: - Planning and execution of profitable growth of the Pet Food business, including strengthening the customer base across the world, especially in Europe. - Providing sales data to the Sales and Operational Plan and ensuring that the sales forecasts are defined. For this, the Senior Sales Manager will need to elaborate a strategic business plan for the continent’s development and growth. - Analyzing new business opportunities by identifying new product and sales opportunities that have the potential to bring value to the business. This is an excellent opportunity to join an international leading organization with a warm and participatory culture. The role can develop into product director or could even move into building a sales team and growing into new regions. The Senior Sales Manager will primarily be working from home or from one of Company offices in Europe (based in Spain, Denmark, Germany, Belgium and France). The Senior Sales Manager will be working closely with the rest of the international team, including the headquarters which houses the QA team, the shipping department, HR, IT, and Accounting global departments. Requirements: - At least 8 years of commercial experience with at least 4 years in commercial / sales development roles within the Feed industry selling to Petfood producers. - We emphasize that you are passionate about your work and like working in a job with a wide range and many different tasks. - You have a structured approach to your work, have an analytical sense, and can maintain an overview. - You are approachable, orderly, and committed to your work or, what is the same, you are welcoming, dedicated, and sincere. - You work autonomously and know how to manage your work remotely but working with a global team and a global approach.
