Reporting to Sales Director, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for business development and promotion of different product categories (standard cases, customized cases and lighting products) in Benelux. A remote working position that requires some travelling every other week. Duties and Responsibilities: − Proactively seek new business by establishing new customers − Develop and expand the distribution network − Develop awareness of protective cases and applications across multiple industries and especially among Defense and Aerospace Contractors and military organizations − Work closely on sales projects with distributors, dealers and OEM customers − Visit dealers, end-users and OEM customers to perform product training − Meet with resellers to determine commercial activity in the area, review status of current sales efforts, resolve problems, ensure sales and marketing goals are being achieved − Assist with preparation of proposals and quotations − Represent the company at trade shows − Update customer database (CRM) and document customer-related activity − When required, liaise with internal manufacturing and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of projects − When required, assist Finance and Operations in resolving customer issues. − Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements: - Minimum 3 years’ experience in B2B sales of industrial products - Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales to defense forces or defense equipment manufacturers - Track record of meeting or exceeding sales budgets - Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing distribution network - Experience in selling bespoke products desired but not mandatory - Ability to effectively close deals and manage sales cycles of varied length - Ability to quickly learn technical aspects of Peli products portfolio and specific markets relating to them - Strong written and oral communication skills - ability to communicate technical sales information clearly and concisely - Public speaking and presentation skills essential - Excellent organizational skills - Fluent in spoken and written English - Valid driver’s license - Experience in using SAP and Salesforce (or similar) desired - Bachelor's or University Degree in Engineering or Business desired but not mandatory
