FUNCIONES
Within the product development team and a fast growing company.
Responsibilities:
• You provide packaging technical expertise to Marketing during the creation phase and assess the technical feasibility of new projects.
• You initiate the development schedule for new projects, define the specifications and brief to the suppliers.
• You lead purchasing negotiations, and you ensure the capability of the supplier on the basis of social and environmental criteria, production capacity, quality level and leadtimes.
• You monitor suppliers, you ensure that development deadlines and ensure that quality complies to standards defined by the brand (Std approval, range of defects, range of shades, etc.).
• You integrate the technical constraints of industrialization during product design phase.
• You carry out COG studies, you monitor and update the tooling budget for your franchises.
• You analyze potential risks with the project team, propose back-up solutions and activate associated action plans.
• You keep a pro-active monitoring regarding marketing and technical innovations in order to propose innovative solutions.
• You maintain all the reporting tools necessary for project monitoring: KPI, dashboard, projects monitoring and raise alerts / to have your manager arbitrate.
Requirements:
• Graduated from a Packaging or Generalist Engineering School.
• Passionate about technology and product innovation with 5 to 10 years proven experience in Project Management in a sector with high quality requirements as the luxury industry.
• Key skills are: mastering the management of strategic projects with high time constraints, mastering perfume & cosmetics development processes, knowing how to read and validate technical drawings.
•Specific knowledge of materials, transformation and decoration techniques for metal-plastics, glass and cardboard.
• At ease in communication, know how to federate the different players around common objectives and you are able to impose yourself as a Project Manager.
• Curious, organized, rigorous, structured, educational, dynamic, and have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team spirit.
• French and English fluently; Italian is a plus.
• Travel to be expected - 20% (factories in Italy, suppliers, trade fairs...).
