Functions: - Define technological standards for filling & packaging line equipment. - Support in Industrial Master Plans confection (per plant) in expert field (filling and packaging lines). - Analyse existing equipment technology vs standards. - Adapt SAT, FAT and IAT protocols for filling and packaging line equipment. - Deploy Engineering Standards Program on filling and packaging line equipment. - Understand production plant operations, and engineering department contribution to the overall industrial objectives. - Support on Annual BP Capex definition according filling and packaging line needs, for both new equipment or technological upgrades. - Define and put in place a common database of filling and packaging lines equipment in the market to accurately estimate costs and timings of a potential project implementation. - Proactively establish a culture of excellence in equipment specifications definition based on defined standards. - Investigation and follow-up of newest technology in the market. - Participate and Organize engineering forums and R&D&i in search of latest technology and/or serving to enable innovations in production plants. - Monitor and review filling and packaging equipment performance (mechanical yield and Breakdown Rates). - Deal with OEM’s and local suppliers for new and existing equipment needs. - Manage and coordinate ad-hoc task force for technical trouble-shooting or engineering improvements at plant. - Supervise (or lead) Industrial Projects Implementations. - Control and supervise Industrial Packaging Projects KPI’s. - Discuss with plant TD’s on Project Implementation needs and outputs to ensure plant requirements are met. - Identify and manage external services needs for in plant implementations (civil works, SLA’s…). - Support to establish and maintain a PMP culture in any implementation led or supervised in plant. - Look up and discuss with plant internal project managers. - Supervise, organize and coordinate technical and human resources; encourage the team; convey and be an example of company values; create a spirit of cooperation; foster autonomy, the delegation of power and the control of results; assure team training and development with the aim of having efficient, motivated collaborators; and guarantee full efficiency of the country. Requirements: - The ideal candidate has a Degree in Electro-Mechanics Engineering or Master degree in Automation/Programs, with at least 5-7 years of experience as Plant Engineer in filling and packaging lines, ideally in FMCG Fast Moving Consumer Goods. - Expertise in project management. - Possess a deep understanding of newest technology in production packaging lines: empty package transporters, rinsing, filling & capping, labelling, conveyors & palletizing systems. - Experience in international environments with cross-cultural teams leading projects - Knowledge of ISO and other international standards applicable to equipment safety, environment, performance and quality. - French and English Proficiency. - Advance user of all the Office Package, knowledge in Project Management (PMP) , AUTOCAD (or similar), MS Project Manager (or similar software for project management.
