FUNCTIONS
The goal of this team is to provide high-performance, high-availability applications to both internal and external clients. Made up of project managers, developers and system administrators, this department maintains and enhances existing web applications as well as providing cloud-computing expertise to a wide range of enterprise clients.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with a local team to create high quality e-commerce sites built on the Magento platform
• Collaborate with an international team of Project Managers and Architects to understand client needs and communicate project progress
• Developers must understand functional and technical requirements of multiple web-based applications, as they perform maintenance and enhancement activities.
• In addition, they assist with creating, reviewing, and updating web application configuration and run documentation
• Write great code! Collaborate with more experienced colleagues to determine the best approach to solving complex business problems with technology
• Gain experience with Magento from ongoing projects and self-motivation
Required Technical Skills and Experience
· 3 – 5 years demonstrated experience as an interface developer
· Experience working with React
· Ability to translate wireframes into functioning presentation layer markup, style, and interactions
· Experience writing cross-browser and cross-platform markup, CSS, and JavaScript
· Ability to write custom JavaScript, as well as work with popular JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
· Ability to collaborate with technical team members
· Experience using Magento is a plus
· E-commerce or similar web experience is strongly preferred
· Fluent in Romanian and English, verbal and written communications
· Excellent time management and strong multi-tasking skills
