Mission: You will be responsible for enforcing the quality requirements of the roto-moulding, injection moulding and value-add operations. Responsibilities: - Support development and maintenance of processes and procedures implemented, develop and maintain KPIs for responsible areas and submit monthly management status reports. - Initiates NCR/CAPAs and investigates to resolve non-conforming product or processes. - Inventory management and maintenance support for components, tooling and finished goods. - Conducts and records inspections, including use of callipers, micrometres, pin gauges, rule or other measuring equipment as necessary. - Non-conformance reporting and troubleshooting issues across all products. - Support in conducting final inspections for finished goods and support production improvement. - Interfaces with the companies design and manufacturing teams to resolve quality and product issues supporting trouble shooting of moulding processes/issues, manufacturing processes and support tooling qualifications. - Recording the investigation results (root cause, correction, updated process documentation etc.). - Assisting in cost-down and value add initiatives within existing and developing production flows, supporting the 6S and LEAN continuous improvement initiatives. - This person must be a good communicator and work well within cross functional teams and be able to work under own initiative, meeting deadlines and be a good timekeeper. - Detects and reports any Health and Safety or operational concerns and possible areas for improvement to appropriate manager. - Actively supports and contributes to the Quality Objectives in support of the Quality Management System activities relating to injection and roto-moulding areas as assigned. - Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance to the job. Requirements: - Around 3 years of experience in a plastic moulding manufacturing environment. Roto moulding experience in particular would be a plus. - Around 2 years of experience in Quality Engineering in an ISO 9001 certified organization. Knowledge of the AS9100 and/or Aerospace/Defence industries would be a benefit. - Must be familiar with engineering and manufacturing documentation (technical drawings, material specifications etc.) and bills of Material (BOMs). - Must have good English verbal and written skills and the ability to communicate in a clear and effective manner with others. - Capacity to work with increasing autonomy in a fast-paced international environment under tight deadlines. - Availability to travel occasionally. - Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision working within our supplier’s facility. - Excellent analytical, organizational and negotiation skills. Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously within set timeframes. - Experienced with Microsoft Office applications. - Good Knowledge and experience of SAP or similar ERP desired.
