Our client, a global leader in fluid application and dispensing technology, is currently seeking an Account Manager (m/f/d) to cover Czech Republic and Slovakia. In this role, you will play a key part in driving growth and maintaining strong relationships within the industrial and automotive markets. You will be responsible for managing existing customers, identifying and developing new business opportunities, and representing high-quality, innovative technical solutions across your territory. Your responsibilities:
- Manage and develop existing accounts in the industrial and automotive sectors, with a primary focus on the industrial segment. Conduct regular on-site customer visits to understand customer needs and ensure client satisfaction.
- Foster strong relationships with end users (approx. 50%), distributors/integrators (30%), and influencers (20%).
- Drive growth with key accounts, including major industrial manufacturers, car OEMs, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, ensuring the promotion and application of the fluid application and dispensing technology product portfolio.
- Design and execute strategies to grow territory revenue by using market segment analysis and time/territory management principles to develop focused approaches.
- Follow up on business opportunities through the distribution and integrator network and develop strategic sales plans.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager and internal teams (Marketing, Product Management, Technical Support…) to align on strategies and share market insights.
- Attend internal sales meetings and training sessions to stay up to date with the latest developments. Represent the company at trade shows and technical events.
- Report regularly on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback via CRM and internal reporting tools.
Your profile:
- At least 3 years of experience in technical sales or account management, ideally within the industrial or automotive segment.
- Experience working car OEMs, Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers, or large industrial companies.
- Knowledge of fluid handling, spray finishing equipment, or coating application systems/automated coating technology is a strong advantage (but not a must).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage distributors and technical partners.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote setup.
- Fluent in Czech or Slovak, with strong English (min. B2 level).
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
