We are looking for a dynamic and tenacious Expansion Manager to drive commercial success in international hospitality markets for an Award-winning hotel chain that is reinventing the luxury all-inclusive beach holiday across the Mediterranean. The role offers a significant opportunity to take a recently established business that has now achieved critical mass in the hotel marketplace to the next exciting phase of its development assisting the Expansion (M&A) Director on its development / Asset Management role in Iberia. Key Responsibilities: -Originate investment opportunities within the hotel sector in Iberia. -Assisting the Expansion Director in due diligence, pricing, transaction structuring, financing procurement, document/SPA negotiation, and investment committee presentation processes. -Originate / Use market information and deep hotel sector knowledge to prepare qualified business cases for asset management activity. -Asset management of closed investments. Take an integral role in helping to execute the business plans and overseeing their successful implementation. -Generate key internal information / Market updates. -Provide input for Deal Support memos and Investment Committee memos as required by the Investment Committee for internal approval. -Be a resource for the team in terms of specialist hotel investment advice. The role will be based in Madrid. Key Requirements -Bachelor(s) degree from a top university. Advanced degree and/or Business, Finance, or Economics is a plus. -Approximately 5-7 years of hotel M&A experience with, ideally, 5 years working within a hotel group or investor. -Strong analytical skills and experience underwriting corporate and real estate asset transactions with significant experience in hotels in Spain & Portugal. -Deep operational experience within the hotel sector, with a demonstrable track record of optimizing business models and cash flows. -Exceptional skills in analyzing hotel investment opportunities, market information, and company financials. -Experience working with external advisers and brokers within the hotel sector. -Ability to work in an international environment in a culturally sensitive manner. -Excellent organization and time management skills. -Highly self-motivated and driven to succeed. -Solution-oriented with a demonstrated ability to think strategically and add value. -Strong written and verbal communication skills (Spanish & English). -Team building spirit. -Fluent in Spanish and English.
