About the role
We are looking for a Sales Manager to join the Italian branch of our customer and drive commercial development in the specialty papers sector. Reporting to the Branch Manager and supported by the Business Manager at headquarters, you will play a key role in managing our customer portfolio and expanding into new business lines.
Your main mission will be to manage and grow existing key accounts while actively developing new customers, with a strong focus on functional papers for food applications.
Key responsibilities
Manage and expand an existing customer portfolio.
Identify, approach, and develop new clients in the labels, flexible packaging, lamination, and extrusion sectors.
Promote and sell a wide range of specialty papers, including:
Single side coated papers for labels
Metallized papers
Flexible packaging papers (for lamination and extrusion)
Glazed Kraft and other glazed papers
Support product launches, particularly functional papers in food applications.
Build long-term, trust-based business relationships.
Represent the company at client visits, trade fairs, and industry events.
Profile
Experience: minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in specialty papers (labels, flexible packaging, extrusion, or lamination).
Background in printing or converting is highly desirable.
Strong initiative, business acumen, and excellent communication skills.
Education: high school diploma required; university degree preferred.
Driver’s license: mandatory, as business travel is required.
