FUNCTIONS

As the Quality Control Director you will be responsible for all the quality assurance processes across the various projects in the Group, some of your functions will be: Quality & Safety Assurance: Works with management and all business areas to prevent, detect and resolve mistakes and defects in products, projects and services ensuring ASTI and customer quality requirements are fulfilled. Specific focus on issue prevention and customer satisfaction rather than just control, establish customer and stakeholder needs/expectations, drive the utilization of process management across the company and its local units to deliver consistent results,minimizing variation and maximizing efficiencies. Quality & Safety Control: Ensures effective internal controls are in place to verify that processes continue to meet customer and stakeholder requirements. Validates that control plans are applied and effective in mitigating know risks. Voice of the Customer: Ensures the Voice of the Customer is represented within ASTI. Challenge the management team with customer experience feedback and input to decisions. Enable and coach all employees to evaluate risks, problems and solutions from a customer/stakeholder point of view. Implement methodologies, actions and improvement plans to ensure continuous feedback and effective and rapid response in the attention and solution of the problems generated by the products in the clients. Product Quality: Utilize systems and tools to assist the Engineering function with Product data and analysis to validate that Products continue to meet operational and customer expectations throughout their lifecycle. Validate APQP plans to assure effective introduction of new products. Quality & Safety Governance: Deploy and maintain the Quality & Safety Management System to provide the business with policies, regulations and processes that sufficiently describe the value chain activities. Lead the local management team in the application of an operational approach and system of process management that is continually evaluated for effectiveness. Quality Compliance: Performs or coordinate audits (internal and external) and ensures the use of analytics of Quality & Safety data from all parts of the operation to identify risks, failures and non conformances within the local business, its suppliers and customers. Ensures that appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken and solutions are managed to closure People Leadership and Development: enables, with the support of HR, that the Quality team is sustainably staffed, developed, and directed to provide support and leadership for the Quality & Safety activities that support the business. Requirements: University degree in industrial engineering or similar Masters degree and/or relevant qualifications in quality systems Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English Over 10 years of experience in similar position Deep knowledge of quality assurance systems Experience devising and implementing strategic plans organisation-wide Confident Doer Knowledge and experience working with multicultural teams.
