TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS
You will be responsible for the German branch by managing and motivating a local team of Service Engineers, Service Coordinators, Purchase & Logistics and the Back-office. To be successful in this role you have a background in operational excellence within the international services business, preferable in the maritime industry. You are customer focused and act as the main client interface in order to resolve all complex technical issues. You manage the on-demand services, as well as the service contracts of the German client portfolio, where services are also executed abroad. You report into the Operations Director Europe based at HQ abroad and ou form part of the Management Team.
The ideal candidate is a self-motived, energetic and driven hands-on manager that motivates and lead by example the local team. You have excellent communication and negotiation skills at all levels, both internally and externally. You like to build bridges between the German office, Head Quarter and your peers at branches abroad. Together with the Account Managers you are responsible for expanding the client portfolio, managing the service contracts and the local budget. You are a real team player but can also work autonomously and are able to take decisions when necessary.
