This position is responsible to drive efficient financial processes, design and monitor internal controls, recommend and implement financial policies, and manage working capital, statutory financial statements and tax reporting. He/She will hold responsibility for Corp Accounting, Accounts Payable , Accounts Receivable, Billing & Order Entry, Master Data, Tax, Payroll, and all administration processes. Communication & influencing skills are highly desirable. Experience in managing Shared Service Centers is highly valuable. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • We are looking for critical thinkers to help drive analysis that identifies opportunities to achieve and exceed our goals. • Drive the Procure-to-Pay and Order-To-Cash process, ensuring efficient and results oriented processes. Guarantee synchronization with sales teams on best practices • Lead the financial operations tasks and build communication and control mechanisms to ensure operations run smoothly • Be the key local contact for the Accounting Ops, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations focus in process improvement and issues resolution initiatives • Assist the Finance Director in ensuring reasonableness of statutory and managerial financial statements, with a particular focus on the balance sheet • Participate in the development and deployment of new financial systems • Coordinate internal and external audit requirements and design a robust internal control environment • Oversee cash-flow management, participating in the forecasting process with a focus on working capital accounts; develop and continually refine key business metrics related to balance sheet and working capital management • Collaborate with Tax, Treasury & Compliance Staff in the development of improvement initiatives • Perform routine and ad hoc financial analyses CONTACTS: This position has frequent contact with external parties, and also senior ranks of corporate management. Contacts include, but are not limited to: • External: Tax & Legal advisors, External auditors, Tax authorities, • Finance: Corporate and regional finance peers, Regional and Corporate financial controllers, Procurement Mgr, Planning and forecasting team, Tax team. REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum of 15 years demonstrated experience in financial & auditing positions. Experience in audit firms (Big Four) is highly desirable • Strong understanding and experience in multinational financial operations with good understanding of Spanish GAAP. • Proven experience in preparation of Financial Statements & Legal requirements • Experience with business processes and systems should include closing, planning, forecasting, invoicing, credit and collection, procurement. • Proven Cash-Management skills • Experience in working in diverse organizations with emphasis on communicating and decision making with demonstrated ability to work under pressure. • Strong written and verbal communications skills. Have the ability to communicate business information in a clear, efficient manner and determine the best method of distributing many different types of communications (specific issues, general info, action required, etc) to audiences at many different levels. • Be able to work independently and manage issues from identification to conclusion, with very low supervision.
