ENERGY, WATER AND GAS
FUNCTIONS
Reporting to the CFO and based in Spain or Italy, you will face the challenges of:
IT Strategy and Governance:
- Develop and implement IT and digital strategy, ensuring seamless integration with RTB and operational processes.
- Align IT initiatives with business objectives, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements, including cybersecurity, data protection, and renewable energy
reporting standards.
- Establish and maintain IT policies to enhance operational efficiency, security, and scalability.
Infrastructure and Digital Ecosystem Management:
- Build and develop digital ecosystem, integrating SCADA, Asset Management, Revenue, and Trading systems to support business operations.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, including cloud-based platforms, networks, and monitoring tools for renewable energy assets.
- Ensure reliable IT operations across remote project sites and offices, optimizing system performance and connectivity.
Cybersecurity and Risk Management:
- Supervise cybersecurity as a core component of operational framework.
- Ensure compliance with NIS2 regulations and industry cybersecurity frameworks.
- Conduct risk assessments, implement security protocols, and develop incident response plans to safeguard IT operations.
Data Strategy and Analytics:
- Define and implement the optimal data strategy, including data management for operating and digital assets, as well as advanced data analytics & reporting
capabilities.
- Design and implement data analytics solutions to monitor and enhance the performance of renewable energy assets.
- Support real-time monitoring systems for wind, solar, and other renewable plants, leveraging AI and machine learning for predictive maintenance and operational efficiency.
- Interface with external data sources, analyze performance metrics, and provide actionable insights to key stakeholders.
Digitalization and Monetization Support:
- Drive the adoption of scalable digital solutions to enhance asset monetization and operational efficiencies.
- Implement control loops and automation strategies that optimize revenue generation and asset performance.
- Ensure smooth integration of SCADA systems within the broader digital ecosystem.
Team Leadership:
- Lead a small, efficient IT & Digital team, fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence.
- Promote skill development in emerging digital technologies relevant to the renewable energy sector.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Revenue, Trading, Engineering, and Finance, ensuring digital solutions align with business needs.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Manage relationships with external digital partners, technology vendors, and service providers to optimize IT investments.
- Ensure technology solutions align with the strategic goals of the company and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Work closely with the CRO to align digital strategies with revenue and trading systems, enhancing business performance.
Project Management:
- Oversee IT and digital transformation projects, including new system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
- Manage budgets and timelines, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery of IT initiatives.
- Align IT and digitalization projects with broader business objectives to drive operational efficiencies and value creation.
