FUNCTIONS

We are looking for a Principal Consultant - Team Leader with experience in Project Management and environmental impact assessment to join in the growing Capital Project Delivery team in Spain. The job will be offered as a full time, hybrid work with possibility to work from our Madrid or Barcelona office and remotely. Key responsibilities include: • Develop and manage Environmental & Social Impact Assessment studies/projects; • Prepare, update and review technical documentations. • Manage relationship with authorities, Clients and Contractors; • Manage environmental critical aspects to ensure compliance with all applicable regulation with major emphasis on: IPPC Decree, EIA decrees, Permitting; • Define, coordinate and implement Environmental monitoring plan; • Identify and develop new project opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals and cost estimates, and maintain client relationships • Ability and flexibility to work across a range of services and sectors including: oil & gas, power (including renewables) and manufacturing; • Provide compliance assurance of impact assessment studies with applicable local legal and institutional requirements (IFC, EBRD,etc.); About you: A master’s degree in environmental engineering or environmental sciences or other relevant disciplines. • 3-5 years of experience as Project Manager. • Experience in people leadership. • Ideally 7 years of experience in relevant fields such as consulting or environmental services, with specific focus on environmental permitting in Spain, EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) and/or Environmental Social Due Diligence. • Familiarity with EHS National Environmental regulation and International Standard (IFC, EBRD, etc.) • Proficiency in Spanish and English, written and spoken. French will be considered an advantage. •. Proven experience in liaise with Authority/Decision Makers and Stakeholders.
