Our client, a leading global manufacturer of industrial spray, dispensing, coating and finishing solutions, is looking for a Regional Account Manager to support the business growth in the Nordics.
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is your opportunity to play a key role in managing high tech system components sales requiring high level technical skills: You will be responsible for Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Iceland as a territory for OEM, General Industry and Automative Refinish Markets. You will focus on identifying existing and new customer projects where you are knowledgeable on electrostatic manual and automatic applications, robotic coating applications, mixing and dosing controllers and systems. Building on your solid experience in distribution management, you also add new distribution when needed. The ideal candidate is a passionate, self-motivated, and highly technical team player. While you would preferably be based near Stockholm (Sweden), this is a remote-based position and a dynamic field role where 80% of the time will be spent in the field.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identify new green line projects as well as retrofit projects by making regular visits to end-users, distributors, paint companies, integrators, OEM’s (around 80% travel).
• Promote the company’s brands to convert the leads.
• Be the first line of communication to customers with strong and professional technical knowledge. Support your distributors and integrators.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including running product (lab) demos, tune-up audits and seeing-is-believing trials.
• Lead the installation of company equipment on site.
• Work closely with internal teams, including Product Managers, Marketing, and Technical Teams, to generate and convert leads.
• Reporting on the sales activities and projects via CRM on a daily basis.
• Maintain a network of appropriate contacts and nurture well-functioning relationships with the customers, distributors and integrators.
• Find new distributors and end users.
YOUR PROFILE:
• Degree qualification or similar in Engineering, Business, or similar related discipline; good technical understanding.
• Experience in a similar role working within the coating application industry; spray finishing equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of robotic paint applications, mixing and dosing equipment, controllers and processes is preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills across all levels.
• Ability to develop, improve, and maintain outstanding relationships with customers, colleagues, and external business partners.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision.
• Robust personal resilience, high motivation and personal drive, team-play.
• Computer competency – including PowerBI, Excel & CRM.
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the job requirements.
• Readiness to travel approximately 4 days per week.
