We are looking for a Commercial Director to lead the sales strategy in the Netherlands within an international FMCG company.
The position is key to driving growth in the Dutch market, developing the client portfolio, defining the most suitable product catalogue, and organizing the territorial structure according to market-specific requirements.
Main Functions
-Organize sales in the Netherlands across different sales channels.
- Develop the client portfolio, define the appropriate product catalogue, and structure the sales organization according to the characteristics of the Dutch market.
- Develop, prepare, organize, and implement business proposals.
- Analyze, develop, and implement the commercial strategy.
- Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of the competition.
-Plan and control the annual budget (sales and expenses).
Candidate Profile
- University degree or equivalent professional experience.
-Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- 5–10 years of experience in FMCG, preferably in confectionery.
-Experience in modern trade; traditional trade experience is a plus.
- Solid commercial skills, analytical mindset, and proactive approach.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and management abilities.
- Languages: English and French; Spanish is a plus.
- Must reside in the Netherlands.
- Full availability to travel.
