FUNCTIONS

As Digital Manager, you are invested in co-designing the strategic business roadmap in China. Brand identity, online and off-line sales have to be managed and consistent to achieve global targets in China market. This roadmap includes the following elements for the Digital Manager: 1- E-commerce & E-retail: Supporting on launching and animating the brand and its products on e-commerce platforms (eg. Tmall & JD) or through distributors & e-retailers. Manage and Coaching e-commerce team: • Plan, implement and execute holistic e-business • Assess e-commerce operational functions and processes • Formulate product categories in alignment to digital marketing • Perform strategic product selection and placements • Evaluate Search Engine Marketing, Pay-Per-Click, deals & promotion. ,… To design and develop effective promotion policy Manage SEO, data, and activation assets quality to improve traffic and conversion • Develop social sales programmes to drive quality traffic for optimal conversion • Collaborate with the China expert and coaching and supporting junior team members. Anticipate the future trends for e-commerce. Participate in internal and external communication & projects to share your earned expertise and findings Deliver Global KPI and business performance reporting 2- Social Media & Content: crafting recommendations on the right ecosystem to leverage, the relevant content strategy and marketing tactics (social commerce, social ads) on major social leaders (eg. WeChat & Weibo, RED,…) to actively develop and engage communities in support of business goals; 3- Influence & Advocacy: building the brand influence and advocacy strategy and recommendations through briefs, selection, and negotiation of potential KOLs as well as recommendations for interaction mechanisms with their audience; 4- Media & Performance: creating media scenarios and investment recommendations in line with the brand profiles and its category dynamic across all digital channels (e-commerce, traditional media, social & vertical apps); 5- On line Retail: analysing drivers for reaching targeted Chinese customer through a mix between precision media, influence & advocacy, e-commerce and store experiences. Preferred experience • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree preferred; • +5 years of experience in Digital Sales & Marketing in China; • Previous experience in international brands, digital agency or Chinese digital platform is preferred; • Have understanding of JD and Alibaba marketing ecosystem, both in/out site. And know well about the trendy JD & Alibaba marketing approaches, like live time streaming, seeding, fans operation, etc. And have a successful case to demonstrate the experience; • Proactive temperament, strength of proposal, working independently, with a lot of freedom of action; • Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate confidently with senior-level leaders; • Ability to balance between a robust analytical capability and strong relationship skills; • Perfectly at ease with English and Chinese.
