FUNCTIONS

We are currently recruiting an Associate Brand Manager for one the key brands in the US market. The role will be based in Dallas. Reporting to the Brand Manager, we are looking for a proactive, creative and energetic partner who thrives from working in an international environment. As an Associate Brand Manager you will support the strategic imperative of growth by driving marketing and shopper marketing activities across our most relevant brand. You will be accountable for developing and deploying marketing strategies, plans and initiatives that grow sales and profit across all channels and customer loyalty. You will collaborate with peers across the organization to create and implement integrated marketing plans that leverage a wide variety of marketing tools to drive results. As key responsibilities we can highlight the following: - Develop and lead key consumer communication activities and programming; - Pro-actively participate in the execution of innovation/renovation projects including developing and tracking metrics for success. - Work with Global Consumer Insights/Market Research to execute research plans that yield rich insights that can be translated into actionable growth programs. - Maintain expertise in the retail and marketing industry as well as marketing strategies, staying ahead of issues, trends, and competitor strategies, and introduce best practice marketing strategies to the company - Help lead and direct work of external agency partners - Engage directly with customers and business partners to develop meaningful relationships; building plans to improve engagement with key accounts. - Manage the brand's annual budget tracker and marketing financial process Our ideal candidate will have the following requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or Communications - Ideally 3-5 years of proven marketing leadership experience with FMCG brands: o Driving business results including brand plan development, forecasting, quantitative and qualitative research and new product development / launches o Developing high-impact consumer promotions, advertising, and packaging o Working with internal and external agency partners - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with capacity to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas to across the organization - Desired: Spanish - Briefing & guiding agency partners with consumer communications, planning & execution - Understanding of the competitive forces within CPG industry - Positive attitude - Act like an owner: deliver results, create value for our brand, our customers and key stakeholders - Inquisitive mind, unyielding desire to learn - Going the extra mile - Sense of executive maturity beyond their years of experience
