Mission: Oversee the production of a manufacturing plant, making sure their employees are working quickly and safely, as well as making sure all the equipment is running properly and is adequate. Functions: Strategically plan and organize manufacturing activity according to production plan. Direct and coordinate purchase, production, processing, distribution and marketing (within companies of the group) activities of industrial organization. Make sure the equipment and employees are working at a rapid pace and producing the product on time. Coming up with methods that will help this process and ensure the company is producing quality products. Make sure the production process is staying on budget and they also sets financial and production-related goals for the company. Develop budgets and approve expenditures for supplies, materials, and human resources, ensuring that materials and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets. Review processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints. Review plans and confer with research and support staff to develop new products and processes. Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records. Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, and other operational reports, to detect production problems. Initiate and coordinate inventory and cost control programs. Improve quality of products and services from suppliers establishing quality and delivery agreements, develop new sources and safety stock of components at their end. Requirements: Engineering degree, business administration, business management or similar. Demonstrable 5 year experience in a similar managing position, and at least 15 years in manufacturing companies. Experience in the Automotive sector will be highly valuable. Knowledge in CNC machining parts. Knowledge in machined parts, forging, casting and lost wax casting, preferably in stainless. Provable experience in production operations, planning, quality, purchasing, logistics, R&D and management. Marathi language. Experience working with ERP tools.
