FUNCTIONS

Our client, a leading global manufacturer of industrial equipment and tools to supply, apply and cure sprayed materials, is looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to support the business growth in Spain and Portugal. What you will do: - Promote the entire product portfolio including Finishing, Sealant & Adhesive, Fast Set. - Analyze and visit end users from the target markets: Automotive Tier1 and General Industry to promote the product range, perform demo´s and "seeing is believing" trials, get leads, and generate sales revenue. - Evaluate customers' needs and build productive long-lasting relationships. - Follow up business through distribution / integrators. - Proactively target competitors' equipment by replacing it with own products to reach / surpass plan targets. - Attend sales meetings, sales events, trade fairs and training sessions to keep abreast of the latest developments. - Report and provide feedback to management monthly through the assigned reporting methods. - Troubleshoot and solve equipment and application issues. - Liaise with coating / pasty product and adhesive manufacturers to ensure our client's equipment range is specified with their products. - Feedback any product development requirements. Your key responsibilities in a nutshell: Plan & execute weekly activities: - Formulate and execute strategic sales plans. - Follow strategy to achieve monthly and quarterly targets. - Visit end-users, distributors, paint companies, OEM etc. - Demonstrate and support new and existing equipment install base. - Demo’s, training, Tech Days, trade-shows, fairs etc. What you need: - Experience in coating atomization technology and fluid handling. - Understanding of atomization, fluid movement and application (liquid and pasty products), and electrostatics technologies. - Know-how in automation processes. - Know-how in distribution management. - Good communication and negotiation skills. - Fluent Spanish and at least intermediate English. - A self-starting, commercially astute, customer-focused approach. - Flexibility and adaptability. - Willingness to travel very frequently.
