Our client is a multinational market leader in nozzle and spray technology. They provide solutions for a variety of industries and applications, with a strong presence in painting and coating systems.
The main objective of the role is to grow the business through the attraction of new customers, especially in areas that until now have not been explored/commercially developed.
The successful candidate should generate short/medium/long-term plans and forecasts in agreement with the Sales and Marketing Director, and help develop and apply commercial policies, always under a business development approach.
We are seeking deep knowledge of the structure and needs of the Iberian market, concentrating on the sub-sectors included in the strategic lines of the company (furniture, sporting, fashion, appliances, automotive and transportation, general industry, distribution, etc.). This role will become an essential part of the relationship between key customers and internal teams.
Main areas of activity:
• Contribute to increasing the volume of billing, obtaining new clients with the aim of establishing lasting/long-term relationships.
• Regularly prepare presentations for potential clients and various market players.
• Prepare, together with the Sales & Marketing Manager, medium and long-term development plans by area and client.
• Create and prepare periodic reports on the development of activities, results, and forecasts, and present them to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain a strong line of communication with HQ and internal departments such as Product Managers, Laboratory, Marketing, etc.
• Collaborate in the post-sale process.
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical sales, account management, or business development.
• University degree, ideally in Chemistry or similar field.
• Fluency in Spanish and professional level of English.
• Availability for frequent travel throughout Spain and Portugal.
• Possess strong skills in problem solving, communication, organisation, autonomy, and flexibility.
