Functions Plan, organise, direct and supervise the sales tasks, by assigning objectives, territories and fields of action to achieve sales targets. Support and help his/her team through regular visits to customers, while ensuring their ongoing development, training and motivation. Establish policies for trade and pricing, products, services and volumes in conjunction with management. Find and open new lines of business, both in terms of products and potential customers. Conduct visits to customers who are considered to be strategically important. Monitor, control and apply corrective measures to achieve budget forecasts for the subsidiaries or place of business. Develop and monitor the sales budget, as well as carrying out administrative management and personnel management in accordance with the established guidelines. Control the different monitoring and reporting ratios of his/her sales area and propose corrective measures if necessary. Manage the administration and finances for subsidiaries or places of business, as well as their liquid assets and taxation matters. Collaborate with the Human Resources department in all tasks inherent with people management within the subsidiary, such as staff hiring and departures, leave, holidays, etc. Legally represent the company before institutions and government agencies whenever needed. Ensure the proper functioning of the interface between procurement, production, logistics, sales and after-sales, by driving the optimisation of communication flows. Optimise the assigned procurement budget by analysing the evolution of costs and studying the competition. Ensure implementation of procedures for procurement management, and especially the management and control of working capital. Safeguard and ensure the correct application of current legislation and the group’s internal regulations for those issues that apply to their area of responsibility. Requisites University degree, preferably in a business related field and applications from Business Schools would be most welcome. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales departments within the industrial paper sector. Native German, proficient English and desirable to possess knowledge of other languages, especially French or Italian. Quality, Environment, Energy, Health & Safety management systems (LIMS) Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety (where applicable) An open communicator, adept at continuous learning focused on customer satisfaction.
