FUNCTIONS
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible of representing the company from a commercial and business perspective in the Portuguese market. You will define the strategic business plan for Portugal working in the integration and implementation of transversal projects within a matrix organization.
As key responsibilities, we can highlight the following:
• Lead and define the sales and business strategy for the Portuguese market, actively developing and fostering client relationships and partner management to ensure the overall achievement of sales targets.
• Actively support sales cycles and major customer engagements by bringing specific knowledge and experience.
• Contribute to the integration of new business models along with an I+D center to leverage the service offering in Portugal.
• Design and develop sales strategies and sales delivery through partners, being responsible of defining the necessary processes to improve and achieve targets.
• Lead, manage and motivate the team, acting as a champion of people development and driving excellence in performance.
• Participate actively in cross-functional projects within the organization, working closely with the HQ’s and implementing in the assigned market.
• Act as Brand Ambassador and actively represent the company in relevant events to leverage their presence and seize business opportunities.
Our ideal candidate will have:
• University Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Technology.
• MBA will be a plus.
• +10 years experience in B2B Senior Sales role, ideally in Technology or HR related services.
• Proven experience leading and managing complex teams.
• Experience in business integration or acquisitions will be a plus.
• Experience in transformation and culture impact projects.
• Leadership skills and capable of developing, leading, mentoring and coaching a high performing sales team.
• Ability to inspire, lead and influence customers, partners, sales professionals and senior management.
• Proven strategic mindset with ability to resolve complex situations.
• Ability to make decisions and analyze their impact in the business.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the Portuguese sales market in a B2B environment.
• Knowledge and experience working with SAP or SAGE will be a plus.
