Functions: • Lead commercial organization under his/her responsibility, and manage the commercial team to ensure flexible, customer-oriented, and efficient sales and customer satisfaction. • Build and develop a highly engaged commercial organization and manage the sales team; align team and individual’s goals, allocate duties and responsibilities, monitor and review performance, ensure development plans are in place and implemented, and manage compensation reviews. • Collaborate with Flavours commercial organization in the region on customer projects and opportunities. • Provide visible and active local support for categories sales and marketing approach in the region. • Develop confidence and intimacy with local Key customers and potentially the retailers, and deploy marketing approach in the Major Key Accounts. • Manage directly clients that are considered as strategic accounts for the business. • Work with the General Manager to develop and implement the strategic commercial plan. Implement commercial plan and achieve commercial objectives. • Analyse the competitive situation/market evolution in the region. • Proactively monitor short, medium and long-term action plans deriving from the regional commercial plan and take corrective actions where necessary. • Set goals for new business developments. Monitor projects to ensure goals are accomplished. Actively support category management activities in the region. • Participate in international commercial projects if needed. • Select and manage effectively external network of commercial resources. • Lead and manage the communication inside the commercial area. • Act in accordance with the compliance rules of the company. • Contribute to feed regional and EMEA organization with all relevant information regarding markets. • Report results and analysis to Regional management on a monthly basis and constantly to the General Manager. • This position will take part of the Steering Committee of the site. Requirements: • University degree in relevant discipline (sales or technical) or suitable mix of education and experience. Professional of 15 years of experience on food industry sales, preferably meat additives, flavours or ingredients. At least, 5 years of experience in a managerial position leading team with proven success. • Spanish & English: fluent, speaking and writing. French will be a plus. • Solid understanding of ingredient applications: ability to recognize/understand, properly communicate and follow up new trends in the ingredients and final products market. • Proven effective negotiation skills; determined and skilled negotiator. • Entrepreneurial, analytical and structured attitude in order to optimize launch of new products. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
