FUNCTIONS
Reporting to the Site Leader, you will be responsible of all facilities in the converting site in Hanau ,Germany, including preventive & corrective maintenance of the winders, the rest of production machinery and globally the installation of this site.
Responsibilities
Manage the organisation of tasks in the maintenance section:
-Supervise and coordinate maintenance, corrective, preventive, and predictive tasks.
-Coordinate periodic scheduled shutdowns.
-Daily monitoring of incidents in machines.
-Monitoring of external maintenance that has been subcontracted.
-Plan the maintenance of a legal framework applicable to systems and equipment (LV, HV,
PQ, Pr, etc.).
Plan, organise, manage, and supervise the functions, tasks and performance of the team in their line management chain, by supporting their development, training and motivation.
Train the maintenance team.
Study, develop and suggest any necessary investments to improve and optimise processes and the proper maintenance of facilities.
Carry out any necessary testing and research aimed at improving facilities and reducing maintenance and breakdowns.
Study and research on an ongoing basis new technologies and processes that can provide practical solutions for continuous improvement and to improve the energy efficiency of the facilities.
Be responsible for compliance with the section’s budget, controlling the costs of investments and regular maintenance.
Ensure order, cleanliness, safety, and general hygiene in the section.
Collaborate with the Human Resources department in all tasks inherent with people management within the plant, such as staff hiring and departures, leave, holidays, etc.
Safeguard and ensure the correct application of current legislation on quality, H&S, environment, energy efficiency, chain of custody and others that may be relevant, as well as internal regulations and group operating instructions for those aspects that apply to their area of responsibility.
Special monitoring of safety measures in maintenance tasks.
Manage human and material resources in all regular maintenance activities, likewise in managing the preventive and technical department for the calculation and design of facilities, ensuring the application of the Group’s safety, environment, energy efficiency and housekeeping criteria.
Requisites
Technical Industrial Engineering degree or Higher Engineering or similar or bachelor’s degree (National Vocational Qualification) or equivalent wider professional experience in the workplace.
5 years’ experience in the roles previously discussed, preferably in the paper industry.
German native and fluent in English
Various specific courses in facilities and machinery.
Training in H&S – Intermediate Level would be a plus.
Quality, Environment, Energy, Health & Safety management systems (LIMS)
Chain of Custody (where applicable)
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety (where applicable)
