FUNCTIONS
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy to achieve revenue and profit targets.
- Identify market trends, competitive landscapes, and consumer insights to inform and recommend strategic decisions.
- Drive brand awareness, desirability and positioning in the European market.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor and inspire a high-performing team of professionals including the European team leadership team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, result-driven and accountability.
- Ensure effective talent fostering, acquisition (when necessary) and development to support business growth in compliance with the relevant channels.
Sales and Distribution:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive national sales strategy aligned with the company's objectives and market trends.
- Oversee the sales and distribution network, ensuring effective coverage and expansion to existing and new channels (e.g. hotels or medical SPAs).
- Identify and evaluate potential growth opportunities, target new markets/channels and consumer segments.
- Set sales targets, quotas and objectives for the team and monitor performance against them.
- Actively develop and manage relationships with new partners (hotels, medical SPAs, …) and distributors.
- Implement, manage and promote the flagship store concept in Europe.
Marketing and Branding:
- Work closely with the marketing team to execute marketing campaigns.
- Maintain and enhance the brand image, ensuring alignment with global brand guidelines.
- Monitor marketing ROI and adjust strategies as needed.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the annual budget, tracking financial performance against targets.
- Implement cost-effective measures to ensure profitability.
- Drive revenue growth through innovative sales and marketing initiatives.
Customer Experience:
- Focus on enhancing the customer extraordinary experience through an omnichannel approach and service excellence.
- Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain brand reputation.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Provide regular performance reports and analysis to the executive team.
- Identify opportunities and areas for improvement based on data-driven insights.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Fluent in Spanish & English; additional European languages would be a plus.
- Extensive experience in the cosmetics or luxury goods (including hotels) industry is essential.
- A proven track record of successful leadership and business growth.
- Strong understanding of the European market dynamics and various growing channels.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities while being pragmatic and operational.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and drive financial results.
- Hands-on, down to earth and practical person who is passionate and inspires their team.
