FUNCTIONS

Supervise the development, manufacturing and installing production and assembly lines for the automotive industry. Supervise the layout design of the production plant and the machinery design. Supervise the process engineering in body shoping and tooling. Supervise, train, and evaluate technicians, technologists, survey personnel, engineers. Prepare schedules, reports, and estimates of the costs involved in developing and operations. Monitor the production rates to assess operational effectiveness. Inspect process manufacturing and equipments. Supervise the entire project from the offer, design, implementation, productiot to the delivery. Ensure all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization's established policies and objectives. Utilize best practice engineering methods and provides expert technical guidance for engineering initiatives. Incorporate components, materials, and tools that result in cost-effective and quality output. Manage overall engineering budget and costs.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree in engineering or related discipline. Minimum between 10 and 15 years of experience working in bodywork procesess, tooling, welding for the development, manufacturing and installing production and assembly lines for the automotive industry. Previous experience as Process Engineer in bodywork, tooling and welding. Advanced level of technical communications, personal interaction and presentation skills. Results-orientation to achieve production targets whilst ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and standards. Strong organizational skills. Leadership skills. Excellent communication skills in English and German would be desired both written and spoken, as well as the ability to interact with people of diverse cultures. Development and mentoring of Engineering staff towards industry best practices.
