FUNCTIONS
Main Tasks
Maintain a strong connection and teamwork in a proactive way with all the employees (and especially managers) to raise the bar in terms of accidents, incidents, waste, protect the environment, health care, with the aim of 0 accidents, incidents, spillage, fires.
Support activities to reduce accidents, incidents, customer complaints and internal quality deviations.
Maintain a high level of awareness and positive attitude towards HSE on site.
The HSE Coordinator will participate in the planning and start-up of all major projects.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the required HSEQ standards through active ownership, impulsing the participation of the Management Team and the rest of the organization, and through close contact with Group HSE while implementing Group projects / initiatives.
- To ensure a safe place to work for our employees and quality processes according to Group HSEQ Standards.
- Coordinate the efforts of the organization, to maintain the Company HSEQ Management System (which covers ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 standards)
- To ensure customer confidence in our processes According to the standards set by HSEQ Management System and OSHAS.
- Develop and maintain the Business Continuity Plan and the Local Crisis Management Plan, promoting the necessary activities to keep them alive and updated, so that they are ready for use when needed, aligned with corporate requirements.
- Ensure that HSE issues are given the importance they require by participating in the Management Team when HSE issues are discussed and ensuring that the Managing Director includes these topics in the agenda.
- Promote and expand the HSE culture in all employees, through training, spreading information, and day to day activities.
- Coordinate with the "Servicio de Prevención" and "Mutua" to ensure that legislation is met at all levels, through regular meetings, joint and individual actions & follow-up to obtain the necessary services at the required standard of quality and ensure that legislation is met at all levels in HSE and Quality matters.
- This position has responsibility for some of the HSEQ Management System elements by applying element requirements to ensure good industrial hygiene practice to protect personnel from physical, chemical, biological, and other work-related hazards.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree: engineering, maintenance.
- Qualified in risk prevention.
- Spanish and English fluent.
