FUNCTIONS

Based at the Barcelona HQ, the Master Process Engineer will provide his/her know-how and support for the continuous improvement of activities in the production plant, based in China and Morocco, with primary focus on cost, quality and throughput of ADAS cameras’ production. • Maintain all process documentation including process flowcharts and operator documentation for all products released to manufacturing. • Seek out, evaluate and implement cost saving methods, procedures and suggestions. • Support the process by developing and implementing production/processing methods and controls to meet cost, quality and production goals for new and existing products. • Perform root cause analysis, formulate and test potential corrective action solutions for all assigned notifications; use appropriate quality tools to drive root cause analysis. • Work closely with all engineering areas to make design and process improvements to improve quality and throughput. • Assure all improvement activities comply with approved methods, procedures and quality standards. • Recommend and implement approved improvements and/or modifications in current processes, tooling, components, and equipment. • Monitor and stay up to date with the latest technology, materials, equipment and practices; collaborate with others in the department as well as key plant personnel. • Develop, implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for new and existing processes. • Support Manufacturing Quality certification efforts by observing operator procedures in action and verifying all equipment is being properly maintained through Preventive Maintenance (PMs). • Provide technical guidance for the prototype development and assembly. REQUIREMENTS: • Experience in process engineering for ADAS cameras. • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering). • High level of English. Chinese is a plus. • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Organization and planning ability. • Results orientation • Availability to travel regularly to partner sites in China and Morocco. (30% of the time)
