FUNCTIONS

We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Area Sales Manager to oversee the performance and development of our luxury cosmetics portfolio across South Germany and Austria. This is a high-impact, field-based role focused on driving sales, elevating the customer experience, and growing brand presence within our selective distribution network—comprising premium perfumeries, luxury spas, and 5-star hotels. As part of the Business Development team, you will serve as a key link between HQ and the market, working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners. You will take ownership of the sales cycle from prospecting to execution, ensuring brand excellence at the Point of Sale (POS), while delivering ambitious commercial results. Key Responsibilities: • Drive the achievement of sales targets across the territory, analyzing performance by category and POS. • Monitor and optimize key KPIs to develop and implement strategic action plans that grow business volume. • Identify and engage new B2B prospects, lead negotiations, and manage onboarding of new accounts. • Inspire, coach, and support POS teams to deliver exceptional customer service and sales performance. • Collaborate with Trainers, Trade Marketing, and Promoters to ensure brand alignment and impactful execution. • Coordinate and implement brand initiatives, collect market feedback, and deliver actionable reporting to support strategic decisions. Qualifications: • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B retail sales within the luxury cosmetics or high-end retail sector. • Native-level German and fluent English required; additional languages are a plus. • Deep passion for the luxury beauty industry, with a client-first mindset. • Strong analytical and business acumen; comfortable working with KPIs and data-driven strategies. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with CRM tools is advantageous. • Exceptional time management, organization, and multitasking abilities. • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively across the region.
