Product Lead

Our client is currently seeking a strategic and results-driven Product Lead to join our team in Madrid. In this hybrid role, you will take direct ownership of the local product strategy and delivery, bridging the gap between technology investments and measurable business outcomes. You will lead an established nine-person development organisation—comprising five in-house developers and four external contractors—and act as the main interface between the Spanish Management Team and the Global Product & Technology leadership. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten:

- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for local products and integrations.
- Prioritize initiatives and manage the local product backlog to align with business goals and partner requirements.
- Translate business and partner requirements into comprehensive product features and technical specifications for APIs, third-party integrations, and B2B/B2C transactional platforms.
- Own end-to-end delivery, strategic planning, resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance for the local engineering team.
- Serve as the primary interface between the Spanish Management Team, commercial and operational stakeholders, in-house developers, group Product & Technology teams, and the HQ.

Anforderungen:

Must-Haves:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a product area and a minimum of 3 years leading teams.
- Strong product management skills with a sharp commercial judgement and solid business acumen.
- Excellent stakeholder management and a strong focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
- Deep understanding of REST APIs, integrations, webhooks, data flows, software architecture, and transactional B2B/B2C platforms.
- Native or bilingual proficiency in Spanish and professional working proficiency in English.
- Availability to travel when required.

Nice-to-Haves:
- Background in B2C e-commerce, marketplaces, payments, distribution networks, or API-rich platforms.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and previous experience as a Product Lead for technical products.
