Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d)

Our client, one of the world's leading providers of cold chain logistics and a specialist in warehousing, transportation, and logistics solutions for the food industry, is currently looking for a Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) for its site in Bremerhaven. In this position, you will be part of a modern, highly automated cold storage facility and, together with the Technical Manager, ensure that all technical equipment and warehouse infrastructure operate reliably at all times. You will be responsible for both operational maintenance and repair tasks as well as technical documentation. We are looking for a technically skilled professional who enjoys solving problems, taking responsibility, and continuously developing their skills.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten:

- Carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repair work on the technical infrastructure of the cold storage facility.
- Troubleshooting and resolving faults in electrical, mechanical, and PLC-controlled systems.
- Ensuring the proper functioning of racking systems, industrial doors, loading docks, and other technical equipment.
- Performing preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- Supporting and coordinating external service and maintenance providers.
- Documenting all maintenance, repair, and service activities, including checklists, reports, and technical documentation.
- Managing spare parts and supporting the continuous optimization of technical equipment and systems.
- Working closely with the Technical Manager to ensure smooth technical operations.
- Supporting compliance with high safety and quality standards in daily operations.

Anforderungen:

- Completed technical vocational training, for example as a Mechatronics Technician, Electronics Technician, Refrigeration Technician, Electrician, Industrial Mechanic, or a comparable qualification.
- Professional experience in maintenance, servicing, technical support, or related technical fields, ideally in an industrial or automated environment.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, as well as experience working with mechanical and ideally PLC-controlled equipment.
- Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical equipment and systems.
- Confident handling of technical documentation and good computer skills.
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work.
- Good German language skills; English skills are an advantage but not a requirement.
- Experience in warehouse automation, refrigeration technology, or the food industry is a significant plus, but not a requirement. If you have a solid technical foundation and are motivated to learn new skills, you will receive support in your professional and personal development.
