General Manager Iberia – Manufacturing industry

Catenon is seeking an experienced General Manager on behalf of an international company with a strong presence in the industrial sector. The company operates in a dynamic and competitive environment, where operational excellence, commercial development and sustainable profitability are key drivers of success.

The General Manager will assume full P&L responsibility, providing strategic direction and leading a multidisciplinary management team to deliver sustainable business performance.

The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of industrial operations, driving profitability, operational efficiency and long-term growth.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten:

- Lead the overall business strategy, ensuring alignment between commercial, operational and financial objectives.
- Take full ownership of the P&L, driving revenue growth, profitability, cost optimisation and cash generation.
- Define and execute commercial strategies, strengthen relationships with key customers and identify new business opportunities.
- Drive operational excellence across manufacturing, procurement, supply chain and logistics, improving productivity, efficiency and cost competitiveness.
- Identify and implement business transformation initiatives to enhance performance and strengthen the company's competitive position.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, working capital management and investment priorities.
- Lead, develop and empower a multidisciplinary leadership team, fostering accountability, collaboration and a high-performance culture.
- Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety and regulatory standards.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, contributing to the organisation's strategic objectives.

Anforderungen:

We are looking for an experienced business leader with a proven track record of managing complex industrial operations and delivering measurable results.

- Proven experience as a General Manager, Managing Director, Business Unit Director or equivalent, with full P&L accountability.
- Strong background in industrial or manufacturing environments, ideally within high-volume, cost-sensitive businesses.
- Demonstrated ability to combine commercial leadership with operational and financial management.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, cost structures and operational efficiency.
- Proven track record of improving profitability, driving business transformation and delivering sustainable growth.
- Experience developing commercial strategies, managing strategic customers and identifying value-added business opportunities.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with experience managing cross-functional senior teams.
- Strategic mindset, sound business judgement and a hands-on, results-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and decision-making skills.
- Fluent Spanish and English.

In addition to the fixed salary, the compensation package includes a 25% performance-based bonus, a car allowance, and family health insurance with 50% of the premium covered by the company.
