FUNCTIES
We are seeking a seasoned and driven professional with proven successful experience in achieving new deals within the hotel industry to take on the role of SVP Development America.
Your main challenges: detecting, negotiating and implementing management contracts for hotel operation. This involves identifying potential opportunities, financial underwriting, analysis, negotiating terms of buy and sale, overseeing design, entitlements, construction, and procuring projects capital and financing.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the MANAGEMENT CONTRACTS acquisition and development process, from sourcing opportunities to disposition.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with brokers, property owners, and industry professionals to source deals.
Evaluate opportunities for acquisition and development across the region: USA and LATAM.
Conduct strategic asset analysis, including thorough market research and financial evaluations, to identify potential investment opportunities.
Oversee due diligence activities.
Structure deals and obtain capital and financing.
Assist to the main hotel events in the region as well as stay informed about industry trends and changes
Oversee project, site plan approval, budgets, schedules, and performance metrics to achieve target returns.
Collaborate with construction personnel throughout de construction processes, providing support to ensure successful project completion.
Define and negotiate third parties agreements as well as other legal documents.
Utilize CRM systems and industry platforms.
In order to be successful in this challenge, you bring…
Master in Business Administration, Law or Engineering.
Minimum of 10-15 years of proven experience in a leading role in mid- to high-rise development , where you had the ability to detect new business opportunities such as MANAGEMENT contracts (third party agreements) in the US and/or LATAM, South America.
Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders.
Sound knowledge of the American market continent
Experience with site analysis, selection process, land acquisitions, entitlements and approval as well as development project management.
Strong financial acumen and experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and capital structuring and sourcing.
Languages: C2 English, B2 Spanish
You live or are willing to relocate to Miami (FL)
Excellent organizational coordination, problem-solving, and time management skills, including planning and managing multiple projects.
Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Word, and comfortable with data analytics.
