Mission Reporting to the Business Director, the Hospitals Business Unit Manager is responsible for all the commercial and technical activities for the Hospitals Organization in the cluster, whilst increasing the service excellence and business profitability. Main functions and responsibilities include; Commercial responsibilities • Overall responsibility for managing the sales, achieving growth and hitting/exceeding annual sales targets. • Develop and implement commercial strategies, meeting company goals and objectives. • Clearly communicate insights and information to a broad team of stakeholders. (hospital general managers, regional Ministers of Health, etc.). • Understand existing customer relationships and their requirements to ensure they are being met. • Providing feedback on market trends, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers. • Drive brand awareness and lead generation via networking, associations, and lobby for the company’s interest. • Hospitals Proforma P&L accountability. Technical Management responsibilities • Provide an excellent technical service level to hospitals while maintaining Safety at its highest standards and within budget. • Ensure the technical organization is adequate to serve the current market conditions and is prepared to develop new business opportunities. • Ensure projects are managed timely and cost-effective. Team Management responsibilities • Providing guidance and on-the-ground support for the regional commercial teams. • Leading the technical team to develop a strongly aligned department to support the continuously changing environment. • Make sure the team size is adequate and ensures opportunity identification and sustainable growth. • Empower and motivate the team so they are aligned and delivering at its best. Minimum requirements • Proven experience as a commercial director or relevant role.. • Extensive knowledge of the Hospital Business and Health Market, public and private. • Excellent organizational and leadership skills. • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. • Excellent relational skills, to build and maintain beneficial partnerships with key stakeholders. • Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes. • Strong working knowledge of metrics to monitor the performance of commercial activities and reporting results to senior management. • Native or near-native proficiency Spanish. • Advance level of English proficiency.
