FUNCTIES

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Packaging Developer Manager to join our dynamic team. The Packaging Developer Manager is responsible for leading packaging development projects from concept to commercialization Key Responsibilities: -Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and packaging engineering to ensure packaging meets product and market requirements. - End-to-end packaging responsibility for each NPD, Business Continuity, and Cost Savings projects will sit with the Packaging Developer -Generate/Execute NPD projects and EPD projects ensuring brand relevance  -Design packaging thinking on marketing brief, formula requirements, factory capabilities, supply chain relevantfactors (LT, MOQ) and procurement cost.  -Work closely with marketing  -Investigate packaging options and costs (preliminary BOM, Coordination with GSP to define suppliers, and costs,provide marketing with input on manufacturability and aspects affecting costs, provide cost of tooling and tests/trials costs, alignment with formulation on the best container-formula combinations to obtain the best product performance  -Collaboration with formulation and testing lab in carrying out the necessary tests to ensure proper container-product interaction-compatibility test  -Collaboration with Packaging engineering in carrying out the necessary tests to ensure proper interaction container-product-packaging line.  -Manage with Finance and Innovation Ops cost estimations during all phase of the project in order to assure COG still on target and achieve GM objectives.  -Support if it is necessary Factory first run production -Be the Owner (generation and continuously manage) all documentations related to packaging and pack use. -Support quality to solve issues, knowledge on criteria of acceptance -Manage and implement Design to Value projects(DTV) Requirements:  -Bachelor’s degree in Packaging engineering, Industrial engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent is required.  -Strong Knowledge of packaging materials, technologies and sustainability practices -Minimum 5 years of experience as a Packaging development with demonstrated track record of delivering results in a complex environment. -Computer proficient (Microsoft Office, Excel, Powerpoint) -Fluent Spanish and English.
