• Motivated to develop outstanding relationships with premium hotels and hotel chains in the assigned territory, both via telephone and in person, to be sold.
• Keen to source, negotiate and close outstanding deals on behalf members worldwide by cold calling and direct sales.
• Able to consultatively sell our client's portfolio of online distribution solutions (net rates, CPC, CPA, and fixed fee).
• Driven to meet or exceed quarterly sales goals, through account development and new business.
• Confident to work with colleagues in Europe and the US to ensure that opportunities are fully leveraged, and the very best content is secured.
• Determined to establish strong internal relationships with key production and publishing stakeholders.
• Capable of creating strategic territory plans to efficiently maximize sales opportunities.
• Responsible to track the sales activity through the funnel in Salesforce.
• Empowered to represent the company at external conferences and events.
Requirements
• Degree educated (or equivalent experience).
• At least 2-3 years of relevant professional sales experience in B2B.
• A candidate with a proven track record of negotiating strong net rates in the hotel sector.
• Experienced working with a Sales CRM (i.e. Salesforce).
• Fluent in English, Spanish would be a plus.
• Knowledgeable of the online travel / media publishing industry.
• Apt to work in a fast paced, high growth work environment.
• Skilled in planning, developing, and executing online sales strategies for hotels.
• An excellent organisational and interpersonal communicator with emphasis on presentation, analytical and sales expertise, and negotiation techniques.
• Able to achieve results while working independently.
• A hands-on team player with a self-starter attitude
